COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Kellogg Community College has announced that beginning next semester, Branch County residents can complete all the training needed to earn a Basic Emergency Medical Technician Certificate at the KCC Grahl Center campus in Coldwater.
The Basic EMT Certificate Program prepares graduates to apply for basic emergency medical technician licensure with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Skills covered in include CPR, patient assessment, splinting, airway management, automatic defibrillation, bleeding and shock management, IV maintenance and defensive driving.
Twelve spots are available in the Coldwater training next semester, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
