SHERMAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A suspect has been charged in a Saint Joseph County vehicle theft case.
The Saint Joseph County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a call regarding a stolen truck near the area of Banker Street and Shimmel Road last Thursday.
Upon arriving, the vehicle had left the area, but a subsequent search located the truck. After stopping the vehicle, the suspect was identified as John Fox Junior.
Fox was arrested on several felony charges, including an outstanding warrant for being in Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
Fox was arraigned last Friday on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Forgery/Counterfeiting, Driving with a Suspended License and Improper Plate.
His bond was set at $25,000.
