COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The grand opening of a nine-hole disc golf course at Heritage Park has been scheduled for Thursday, November 14 at 4:00 p.m..
The disc golf course has been made possible thanks to the efforts of Coldwater High School junior Carson Perz who is also an Eagle Scout candidate.
The disc golf course will be located behind the youth softball diamonds off North Shore Drive.
Perz is hoping this project will lead him to becoming an Eagle Scout.
He raised nearly $4,000 and organized the disc golf course’s installation and design. Perz worked with Community Enrichment Director Julie Santure on his Eagle Scout project.
