COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School girls swim and dive team won their final dual meet of the season Tuesday night as they defeated Adrian 105-62 at the Browne Aquatic Center.
The victory brought Coldwater’s season record to 6-6, which is the best record in Coldwater girls swimming history.
The Cardinals won 10 of the 12 events including all 3 relay events. Randi Dudek, Anna DeMeester, Jillian McKinley and Mia Rzepka won the 200 Medley Relay. DeMeester, Rzepka, Dudek and Leah Goodwin won the 200 Free Relay with Rzepka, Goodwin, McKinley and Lexi Lock winning the 400 Free Relay.
Bringing home individual wins for Coldwater were McKinley in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke, Legend Szafranski in the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle, DeMeester in the 100 Breaststroke, Dudek in the 50 Freestyle and Lock in the 100 Freestyle.
The Lady Cards finish off their regular season next Friday and Saturday at the SMAC Conference Championship, which will be held at Battle Creek Lakeview.
