COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Despite rain, heavy at times, the annual Coldwater Halloween Parade was held as scheduled Saturday night.
The crowd only numbered around 100 people, and a number of floats and other entries pulled out of the parade because of the rain.
Because a special permit must be granted by the Michigan Department of Transportation to close U.S. 12 for parades, there was no possible reschedule date.
The next parade downtown will be the Coldwater Christmas Parade December 7.
