COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A combination of purple jersey sponsorships, banner sales, and other fundraising efforts by all the fall sports teams at Coldwater High School will net the Cancer Center at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital $22, 520 this year.
An official check presentation will be made Tuesday, but Purple Committee organizers made the announcement to the crowd at last night’s varsity football between Coldwater and Temperance-Bedford.
Last year’s effort raised $10,000, and in the three years of the Purple Games, $38,520 has been raised. This year’s donation is designated for new recliners for chemotherapy patients.
