BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Three suspects who maybe responsible for over 60 area larcenies have been taken into custody by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
After getting a Silent Observer tip, the Sheriff’s Office were able to identify the subjects as a 53 year old father and his 22 year old son who are both from Battle Creek. The other suspect was identified as a 31 year old man from Albion.
The Sheriff’s Department says Deputies with the Calhoun County Special Response Team were able to recover stolen items and found controlled substances after they executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Post Avenue in Battle Creek. Charges will be requested for the occupant who is identified as a 33 year old man.
The Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a black and Silver 20 foot Haulmark enclosed trailer which contained a camouflaged 2015 Polaris Ranger that were taken from the 25000 Block of R Drive North Tuesday afternoon.
