CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball, Bronson went 6-0 and did not lose a set as they won the Constantine Invitational Saturday.
The Vikings defeated Lawton, Gobles and Coloma in pool play as they earned the top seed. They then defeated Lawton in the quarterfinals and Constantine in the semifinals before claiming the tournament title with a 25-15, 25-17 victory over Dowagiac in the finals.

The Coldwater junior varsity volleyball team went 6-2 and got to the semifinals of the Holt Invitational on Saturday. They went 5-1 in their pool thanks to wins over Lansing Everett (21-9, 21-10, 21-15) and Olivet (17-21, 21-17, 21-19).
They defeated Holt in the quarterfinals 14-25, 25-23, 15-13 before losing to Parma Western in the semifinals 25-23, 25-19.
Violet Waltke had 52 assists and 11 aces, Brooke Moore had 23 kills and 11 aces, Mallory Wilber had 18 kills, 10 digs and 10 aces, Kendyll Szafranski had 19 digs and 10 aces while Brynn Babcock had nine digs.
All of the Coldwater volleyball teams play at Harper Creek Wednesday.
In 8 Person Football on Saturday night, Battle Creek St. Philip defeated Tekonsha 71-52.
