COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The St. Charles Borromeo Middle School and Junior Level teams both won the Sturgis Christian League Tournament to close their seasons.
Alex Richards was first with a personal record time of 8:52 on the mile-and-a-half course. Jimmy Maynard was fourth while Hunter Scheidler was fifth.
Four Junior Level runners from St. Charles earned ribbons. Luke Aerts was first with a time of 9:23. Kolton Rice was fourth, Atrayu DaCosta was fifth and Andrew Richards was seventh.
Gwen Eby won the girls race in a time of 11:19. Kenzi Maynard was second.
Other runners who scored points for the junior level were Hunter Longstreet, Lincoln Knirk, Danny Aburto, and Logun Fisher.
