COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Crews have constructed the shell for the future Dairy Queen store at 559 East Chicago Street on Coldwater’s east side.
It’s not known when the new Coldwater DQ restaurant will be open. It will be over 2,600 square feet in size, with a drive-through window and 42 parking spaces.
Todd Haidous owns the property. He has been the owner of the Angola Dairy Queen since 2015.
The Dairy Queen is being built at the site of the former Coldwater Recreation Lanes.
The bowling alley closed last spring. It was in the process of being torn down when a fire broke out in the arly morning of July 10, 2019 and destroyed the building.
