COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved a four year contract agreement Monday night between the city and the Municipal Services Division of the United Steelworkers union which currently represents twelve Department of Municipal Services employees.
The agreement calls for three percent wage increase wages for the first two years of the contract and a two percent increase in the second two years.
The contract also provides for an escalated accumulation of paid time off hours for seniority.
The United Steelworkers has told city officials they will accept the agreement which expires in June 2023.
