LEONIDAS, MI (WTVB) – The St. Charles Borromeo boys cross country team won the Trinity Lutheran Invitational at Camp En Gedi near Leonidas last Thursday.
11 SCB boys scored points for their team and seven boys received ribbons. They included: 7th place-Atrayu DeCosta, 6th-Aiden Adams, 5th-Lincoln Knirk, 4th-Kolton Rice, 2nd-Luke Aerts, and with a personal record time of 8:57, 1st-Alex Richards.
The SCB girls team finished in 2nd place with five runners scoring points for their team: Gwen Eby, Gracin Hemker, Sophia Adams, Isabella Angevine, and Hadley Schabloski.
Gwen Eby took home a second place ribbon with a time of 11:07.
SCB’s final meet will be Thursday, October 17 at Camp En Gedi beginning at 4:15 p.m.
