BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman told the Bronson City Council on Monday night he has been informed by the Michigan Department of Transportation that the milling and filling portion of the U.S. 12 resurfacing project will begin October 24, 2019.
Work needs to be done on the sidewalk ramps in the city before the milling and repaving can take place.
Mersman said the work will start at the Branch-St. Joseph County line. The repaving work will finish at Wayne Street on the east side of Bronson.
It’s estimated the $2 million project will be done by November 15, 2019. The work will include sidewalk ramp upgrades and new pavement markings.
Drivers should be alert for single lane closures with traffic regulators during the course of the project.
