BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Community Schools Superintendent search is officially underway, with the posting this week of the job opening.
The Michigan Association of School Boards is assisting the district with the search for Rick Hilderley’s replacement.
His final official day in Bronson is October 18, after serving as Bronson School Superintendent since June 2017. He will be taking over as the Superintendent of the Tecumseh School District October 21, 2019.
The deadline for those interested in the Bronson Superintendent’s job is 4:00 p.m. November 5, 2019.
Applications are only being accepted on line. The job posting says a comprehensive, multi-year contract will be offered and that a preliminary salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 has been established.
The timeline calls for the selection of candidates to be interviewed taking place on November 25th with the first round of interviews December 4 and December 5. A second round of interviews and a possible selection by the School Board has been scheduled for December 10 and December 11, 2019.
Whoever is selected is scheduled to start as the new Bronson Superintendent January 2, 2020.
