HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – With 58th District State Representative Eric Leutheuser leaving office because of term limits at the end of 2020, Hillsdale Mayor Adam Stockford has announced he will be seeking the seat.
The 39-year-old Stockford becomes the first Republican to announce their intentions to run in the August 2020 G.O.P. Primary.
Stockford was elected to the Hillsdale City Council in 2014 and was elected as Hillsdale Mayor in 2017.
The 58th State House District covers all of Branch and Hillsdale Counties.
