BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Work on a major street construction project in Bronson is continuing.
Corey and Grant Streets are tentatively scheduled to be milled down next Thursday and Friday, with paving scheduled to begin Monday, October 7.
Traffic will be maintained but there may be delays at times.
Excell Paving Plus of Coldwater is performing the work on the project after their bid of just under $250,000 was recently approved by the Bronson City Council. The substantial completion deadline for the project is October 31, 2019.
A Michigan Department of Transportation grant is covering about $105,000 of the project, with the city’s total match at just over $144,000.
