BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In Big 8 Conference girls volleyball action Tuesday, Bronson swept past Springport 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-12).
Bronson improved their Big 8 Conference record to 2-0 and their overall record to 16-4-2.

The Legg Middle School 8th grade A volleyball brought home a win in three games at home against Lumen Cristi 25-15, 25-27, 15-7. Leading the team serving was Kenzie Scheid with 14 points, 11 aces, Izzie Pool with 8 points, 3 aces, and Emma Porter with 7 points. Morgan Dancer lead the team with 2 kills, and Emma Porter, Izzie Pool, and Hailey Price with one kill each. The team will play at home against Harper Creek on Thursday.
The Legg Middle School 8th grade B volleyball team lost in three games to Lumen Christi 25-13, 21-25, 14-16. Leading the Lady Cards was Emma Frey 11/11 with 7 aces and 1 dig, Jordyn VanDoogan 6/11 with 3 aces and 4 digs, Kayleigh Boyd 5/6 with 2 aces and 1 dig, Jossy Martinez 4/5 with 3aces, KayDence Wing 4/5 with 2 aces, Kaylee Slusarski 2/2 with 3digs, Yarsibel Martinez 3/3 with 1 ace and Gabby Schoch 2/3.
The Legg Middle School 7th grade A volleyball team defeated Lumen Christi 25-21 25-21 6-15. Coldwater was lead by Eli Foley 10-12 with 6 aces, Avery Paarlberg 6-10, Ava longstreet 5-9 with 4 aces, Zoie Wohlgamuth 3-5 & Dakota Allen 2-3. The A team record now stands at 4-2-1.
