QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A vacancy on the Quincy Village Council is scheduled to be filled during the Council’s meeting Tuesday night.
The vacancy was created recently when Laura Loomis stepped down.
According to the packet for Tuesday’s meeting, the only person to apply for the position before last Tuesday’s deadline was Quincy Community Schools Technology Director and Quincy Baseball Softball Association President Andrew Craig.
Craig is a lifelong Quincy resident who has been involved in the Quincy Baseball Association, the village’s 4th of July celebration, school events, and the Quincy band program.
He is also the advisor for the Quincy Varsity Club.
The appointment will be made following an interview by the Council.
