BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Despite three injuries, the Coldwater High School boys tennis team managed to finish fourth Saturday at the Harper Creek Invitational.
Bronson was sixth. Edwardsburg won the meet with 38 points, Niles and Harper Creek tied for second with 36 points apiece followed by Coldwater with 28, Three Rivers with 16 and Bronson with 10.
Coldwater’s Kyle Sheppard was second at number two singles. The number two doubles team of Grey Skudlarick and Sam Westgate and the number four doubles team of Ryan Sturgeon and Alex Hartman also finished second. The number three doubles team of Lu LeBron and Jett Galloway finished third.
The Cardinals play at Pennfield Monday.
