BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson High School Athletic Director Jean LaClair will be spotlighted during halftime of the Vikings home football game against Springport Friday night after she won three prominent awards this year.
LaClair has received the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Alan Bush Award, Saginaw Valley State University’s College of Education Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Michigan High School Coaches Association 2019 Coach of the Year Award.
MHSAA Executive Director Mark Uyl says the Bush Award was created to recognize the frequent behind-the-scenes efforts that go into creating worthwhile experiences for Michigan high school athletes.
The SVSU Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to a graduate in recognition of distinguished service and accomplishment in any field of human endeavor that enhances the prestige of the university.
The MHSCA Coach of the Year honor is designated to a coach based upon a team’s performance, performance of a team over years, and/or contribution to sport, school, sport association and community.
