COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash with a SUV at the intersection of South Clay and West Garfield on the south side of Coldwater.
The drivers involved were both from Coldwater. Coldwater Police were dispatched to the crash at about 4:40 p.m..
According to an initial investigation, the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer failed to yield as she turned north onto South Clay from West Garfield and struck the west bound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained a broken leg and was treated on scene before being transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. The Branch County Sheriff’s Office, Lifecare Ambulance and the Coldwater Fire Department assisted at the scene.
