KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school swimming and diving, Coldwater picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night as they defeated Mattawan 98-88 in a meet at Western Michigan University.. It was also their first conference win in which they are now 1-2 for the year.
Earning wins for the Lady Cards were Jillian McKinley in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle, Legend Szafranski in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke and Randi Dudek in the 50 Freestyle.
Also the relay team of Lexi Lock, Mia Rzepka, Masyn Marsh, and Randi Dudek won the 200 Freestyle Relay and the relay team of Jillian McKinley, Masyn Marsh, Randi Dudek, and Paige Kirkpatrick won the 400 Freestyle Relay.
The Cardinals swim again Thursday in a double dual against Bridgeman and St Joseph at St Joseph High School.
