COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A ribbon cutting and open house will take place Friday at the new location of the Beginnings Care for Life Center at 16 North Clay in Coldwater.
The new location provides Beginnings Care with some much needed space that they did not have at their old location on Marshall Street.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by an open house until 6:00 p.m..
A $200,000 donation from the Lucille E. Dearth Foundation, a capital campaign, and a $150,000 donation from the Clemens Foundation allowed Beginnings Care to buy the former Preferred Family and Women’s Care building, which was owned by Dr. Jeffrey and Annette Custer.
Beginnings Care for Life Center provides free services to women, men and families, including pregnancy tests and confirmation, baby-care materials, parenting education and post-abortion support.
