COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A portion of the City of Coldwater was without power for less than an hour early Sunday morning, with a raccoon blamed for shorting out a transmission line at a Board of Public Utilities substation.
CBPU Director Jeff Budd says the entire outage lasted about 50 minutes, with the outage beginning around 5:00 a.m. Sunday. Around 800 customers were affected, with three circuits taken out.
