Becky was born April 25, 1945 to Frank and Sudie (Fowler) Kelley in LaFollette, TN. On June 9, 1963 Becky married Benjamin “Dean” Church in Lake City, TN. Becky and Dean were happily married for over 57 years and to many their relationship exemplified what a loving marriage should be. They shared a passion for traveling together and were proud to have visited all 50 states.
Above all, Becky loved spending time with her family and friends and always made sure everyone was entertained and well fed. Becky was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. And rain or shine, regardless if she was feeling good or bad, Becky was well known for making every effort to never miss any of her children’s or grandchildren’s sporting events, band concerts, or special events.
She had worked many jobs over the years but none brought her more pleasure than the years she owned and operated “Becky’s Cut & Curl” in Coldwater. Becky was a woman of strong faith and a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Trenton.
In addition to her husband Dean, she is survived by her two sons Timothy (Jenny) Church of Monroe, MI, and Scott (Emilee) Church of Trenton, MI; her five grandchildren Katelyn Church, Elizabeth Church, Tyler Church, Shane Schmittlien, and Hailey Schmittlien; her three siblings Charles Kelley of Marietta, GA, Douglas (Judy) Kelley of Clinton, TN, and Mary Frank Kelley of Luttrell, TN; two sister-in-laws Pearl Miner of Montgomery, MI, and Mavis Church of Fremont, IN; and her many loving nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Faith United Methodist Church in Trenton.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
