COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With the clock ticking toward the start of the 2019-2020 school year, more open houses are set for the next two weeks.
In the Coldwater school district, new Max Larsen Elementary principal Julie Farmer is hosting a “Popsicles on the Playground” meet and greet Thursday, August 8 from 11:00 a.m.-12 noon.
Max Larsen Elementary will host its official fall open house Wednesday, August 14 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The open house for Jefferson Elementary will that afternoon from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m., while the Lakeland Elementary open house is 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. that evening.
The Legg Middle School open house is Thursday, August 15 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m., while the Coldwater High School open house is 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. that day.
A Teacher Work Day for Coldwater teachers is Wednesday, August 14, with a Professional Development Day Friday, August 16, 2019.
School starts around Branch County with a full day of classes Tuesday, August 20.
The fall open house at the Branch Area Careers Center is Monday, August 19 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
