BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Fire Department recently received funds donated in the memory of Mary Ann Rinehart who passed away in June at the age of 89.
The fire department said in a post on their Facebook page that the funds will be used to purchase a flag pole for the fire station at the direction of the Rinehart family to honor Mary Ann and her husband Floyd Rinehart who preceded her in death in October of 1999.
Three of Mary Ann’s grandsons are Bronson firefighters; brothers Jerry, Bill, and Ken Rinehart. Her son, Dave Rinehart, also served as a Bronson firefighter for 12 years.
