COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of two Indiana suspects who are facing numerous charges for the alleged break in and theft of items from storage units on Coldwater’s south side had her case bound over on Tuesday to Branch County Circuit Court.
36-year-old Jennifer Renee Oliver and 44-year-old Robby Alan McCarty are both charged with seven counts of breaking and entering with intent, receiving and concealing stolen property and being in possession of burglary tools.
Oliver waived her District Court preliminary exam and is scheduled to appear for a Circuit Court pre-trial conference on September 9.
Her bond remains at $35,000. McCarty is being held in the Branch County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
They were apprehended on Marshall Road just north of Coldwater after several Shaffmaster U-Store-N-Lock storage units on North Angola Road were broken into.
Michigan State Police and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
