COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A fundraising hog roast and concert for Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue will be held Friday evening at their facility just west of Coldwater.
Multi award winning Christian Country Music artist Tommy Brandt and his son Tommy Brandt the second will be performing after the hog roast.
The hog roast costs $7 and starts at 5:00 p.m.. The concert follows at 7:00 p.m.. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
According to Wikipedia, the elder Brandt has won 29 major Christian music awards and has had 14 number one songs on the Inspirational Country Music charts.
No alcohol will be allowed during the event and those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.
Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue is located at 152 East Colon Road.
Besides rescuing horses, Hidden Ponds has young people positive motivation programs and a equestrian team.
They also have a program for the handicapped and elderly. They book weekly trail rides by appointment and adoptions are available.
