READING TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two people were injured Monday morning in a head on collision in Hillsdale County’s Reading Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 60-year-old Gerald Tremaine of Hillsdale was traveling east on Bankers Road near Pierce Road at about 6:40 a.m. when he crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jayde Shepherd of Reading.
Tremaine was taken to Hillsdale Hospital while Shepherd was rushed to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by firefighters from Reading Township and Montgomery, the Reading Emergency Unit and the Michigan State Police.
