COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man who is facing three counts of motor vehicle theft has had his cases bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
A District Court spokesperson says 38-year-old Andrew Hamlin waived his preliminary exams that were scheduled for Tuesday.
A Circuit Court pre-trial conference has been scheduled for June 17, 2019.
Hamlin was arrested near Indianapolis, Indiana in February 2019. He had been sought by Coldwater Police and after they got numerous stolen vehicle complaints.
Coldwater Police said at the time Hamlin was captured that they had received an overwhelming response from citizens after the department issued a wanted poster of the suspect on social media and in local media outlets.
