COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The building that used to be the law office of Eric Goodwin at 26 South Monroe has been sold to the City of Coldwater.
The Coldwater City Council approved a resolution for the purchase of the property on Monday at a price of $22,000 following a 10 minute closed session.
Goodwin retired in early 2015.
The resolution stated the acquisition of the property “will be beneficial in supporting the City’s efforts to revitalize the downtown area.”
There has been a lot of discussion about the future plans for the property but nothing has been finalized.
