COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Women Who Care of Branch County decided during their recent meeting in May to give funds from the meeting to the Hidden Ponds Horse Rescue to help with funding for their six programs for troubled teens.
The amount donated was $11,000, which put the group at a total donation to the community of just under $200,000.
Genelle Welch was the member who nominated the organization for the donation.
Women Who Care of Branch County meet four times a year to help streamline fundraising for local charities and organizations.
