COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The case of a Bronson man who is charged in the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year old girl from Girard Township last summer is going to trial next Tuesday in Branch County Circuit Court.
27-year old Richard John Terlizzi is facing a charge of third degree criminal sexual conduct.
A final pre-trial conference in the case was held Monday in Circuit Court. Terlizzi has entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
He was arrested last December following a Michigan State Police investigation into the alleged August 2018 incident.
The alleged victim was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by her mother after she was told by the youngster what happened. Hospital officials then notified the authorities after an examination was conducted.
