QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Diplomas were awarded to 85 graduating seniors on Sunday afternoon during commencement ceremonies at Quincy High School.
Unlike some past years when the hot weather was to much for some, Sunday’s large crowd at the Quincy High School football field enjoyed partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 60’s.
Quincy High School Principal Joey Wright wrapped up his first year as principal and noted this was a class that achieved academically, athletically and artistically.
Long time Quincy High School teacher Karen Michael delivered the commencement address.
Quincy’s traditional passing of the Cane was made from Class of 2019 President Mickala Signor to Class of 2020 President Torrance Swift.
This years Senior Scholars were Evan Henning, Dawson McClughen and Carter Moore.
