COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a consulting agreement between Branch County 911/Central Dispatch and Florida-based ADC Telecom Tuesday.
ADC Telecom will serve as a consultant for the next three phases of the Branch County 911 Radio Project.
Branch County 911 Director Kurt Spalding said the $153,600 costs will cover all three phases.
The money will come out of the 911 budget and it won’t be expended until each phase takes place. Spalding says the three phases will cover at least three budget years.
The company previously performed an engineering needs assessment report for Branch County’s existing analog system last year.
The 911 Board has already reviewed and approved the nine page agreement.
