COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Broadway Grille Restaurant and Planet Powersports plan to sponsor a “Kickoff to Summer” event which will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019, right after Strawberry Fest.
The businesses will ask the Coldwater City Council for their permission Tuesday night to close Monroe Street between West Chicago and West Pearl for 12 hours starting at 2:00 p.m. on that Saturday.
The free event will be from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and organizers plan live entertainment and recreational vehicle displays.
The 12 hour street closure is needed to set up for the event and to tear things down afterwards.
The City of Coldwater will be helping to promote the event.
