COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners interviewed four construction manager prospects for the new Branch County Jail Thursday.
There were six sealed proposals that were submitted to the county with the top four candidates selected by the Jail Committee.
The candidates were given 20 minutes to make their presentations. Commissioners then had 20 minutes to ask questions.
The four interviewed were Granger Construction, Performance Services, Skillman Corporation and Clark Construction.
Each commissioner was given a worksheet and asked to rate each company on a scale of one to four with one being the highest.
The completed worksheets will then be turned into County Administrator Bud Norman.
The results are expected to be discussed and a decision made during the next work session June 6, 2019.
