QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school soccer, Quincy advanced to the Division 4 Kalamazoo Christian District Semifinals Thursday night as they defeated Kalamazoo Heritage Christian 6-2 on the Orioles home pitch.
Madison Hinds led the Orioles with three goals. Katie Rathbun had two goals while Emily Hollenbaugh had a goal and two assists. Quincy outshot Heritage 34-9.
Quincy will play Schoolcraft next Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Kalamazoo Christian. The winner will face either Kalamazoo Christian or Kalamazoo Hackett for the district title.
The Quincy varsity baseball and girls softball games at Michigan Center were cancelled for Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Quincy’s varsity baseball games scheduled for Saturday at Eastern Michigan has been moved to Jackson Lumen Christi High School. The games will start at 10:00 a.m..
