DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The average price for gas in Michigan jumped to a two-year high when it reached $2.85 per gallon last Thursday.
Since then, there has been a slight drop, but drivers in the state are still paying an average of $2.84 per gallon, which is 13 cents higher than the week before.
“Tightening supplies helped Michigan drivers see a spike in pump prices last week” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group. “After hitting a new high on Thursday, Michigan gas prices have slowly declined over the past few days.”
This average price is now $1.21 more than it was one year ago.
