COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital will be hosting the 26th annual Great Hospice Duck Race Saturday, June 1 at Waterworks Park.
The goal of the event is to increase awareness of hospice and raise money to support the hospital’s hospice program.
This year’s event includes the duck race, food, music, face painting, door prizes and balloons.
The first prize is $2,019 in cash donated by Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater and Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home of Bronson. Second prize is a week-long camping adventure donated by Haylett’s Auto & RV and Waffle Farm. Third prize is a Family Bronze Golf Membership Package donated by Coldwater Golf Course.
More than $14,000 in prizes will be given away on race day.
