LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Quincy and the City of Bronson have been awarded Michigan Department of Transportation Category B grants.
Quincy has been awarded a grant of over $179,000 that will be used to rebuild Berry Street.
Plans call for the construction to take place later this summer and fall. Chip seal work on Main Street and other work on Bennett Street was also included in the grant.
Meanwhile, MDOT has awarded Bronson over $105,000 for work on East Corey Street and East Grant Street.
The local match in both grants was fifty percent.
