COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In Interstate 8 Conference girls soccer Wednesday, Coldwater came away with a 1-1 tie at home against Jackson Northwest.
Samantha Rodesiler scored the lone goal for the Cardinals with 21:06 to play in the second half, assisted by Jayda Kelly. Northwest scored their goal with 26:21 to play in the first half.
Amber Sunderland made 12 saves in goal, as Coldwater improved to 1-4-1 in the Interstate 8 Conference and 2-9-2 overall. The Cardinals play Olivet in the first round of the Eagles Extravaganza tournament Saturday.
The Coldwater JV team tied Northwest 0-0.
Quincy lost at Jackson Christian 3-1. Katie Rathbun scored off a corner kick with 10 minutes left in the game for Quincy’s only goal. Quincy is now 5-5-1 on the season.
