QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s boys and the Pittsford girls were the top teams on Saturday at the Quincy All Sports Day Track Invitational. Quincy edged Pittsford for the boys title 141-139 1/2. Bronson was fifth while Union City was sixth.
Quincy’s Erik Butchart won the 1600 and 3200. Union City’s Gavin Hooker was a triple winner as he finished first in the 100, 200 and 400 while Charger teammate Josh Watson won the high jump. Quincy’s Ian Trall, Axel Beltran, Alex Pickell and Devan Fisher teamed up to win the 400 relay.
Pittsford won the girls meet with 184 1/2 points. Quincy was second with 137. Bronson was fourth and Union City was sixth. Quincy’s Jessica Holcomb won the long jump while the Orioles were first in the 400 and 800 relays.
