ADRIAN, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater girls junior varsity soccer team captured the title in the Adrian Maples JV Invitational Saturday, beating Jackson Northwest 2-0 and the host Maples 3-0.
Grace Ortiz and Heidi Murphy scored against Northwest, with an assist for Joselyn Salto. Salto, Ortiz, and Ezma Machan scored against Adrian, with one assist from Rayne Snyder.
The Coldwater JV team will host Jackson Northwest in Interstate 8 Conference action Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. The varsity team plays at Jackson Lumen Christi Monday at 5:00 p.m.
