UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City dropped both ends of a Big 8 Conference doubleheader to Reading by scores of 8-6 and 10-3. Autumn Carpenter had three hits and two RBI’s in the first game for the Chargers.
Quincy swept Homer 14-0 and 10-0 in a Big 8 Conference doubleheader. Morgan Michael struck out eight and tossed a two hitter to get the win in the first game. Mick Signor had three hits while Rylei Sunday had three RBI’s.
Kelsey Mainstone tossed a one hitter and struck out nine to get the win in game two. She also had three hits while Megan Kirt drove in four runs.
