DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Akil Baddoo hit a walk-off single in the tenth inning to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park yesterday.
Starter Casey Mize did not figure in the decision and gave up one run on five hits while striking out four in four innings.
In this afternoon’s rubber game, Matthew Boyd takes the mound for Detroit, while Minnesota counters with Kenta Maeda.
