COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight day, rain totally wiped out the Branch County high school sports schedule Tuesday.
Baseball and girls softball games that were postponed until Friday were Coldwater at Parma Western, Reading against Union City and Homer at Quincy. Bronson’s baseball and girls softball games at Jonesville were postponed until Wednesday, weather permitting.
The Coldwater at Gull Lake and Niles at Bronson girls tennis matches were cancelled with no make up dates announced.
The Coldwater track meet with Jackson Northwest was rescheduled for Tuesday, May 7. It will now be part of a double dual meet with Pennfield. With the postponements of the Tuesday track meets, Coldwater’s meet May 8 against Three Rivers has been cancelled with no make up date.
The Big 8 Boys Golf Jamboree that Union City was cancelled with no make up date announced.
