COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Consultant Tim Hart told the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board Wednesday there are nearly a half dozen prospects that are either currently working on funding or trying to find the right space for their businesses downtown.
Hart gave a positive spin to the DDA board about possible prospects, saying that about three of them are either working on the grant or funding stage.
He said while you may think there’s a lot of empty buildings in downtown Coldwater, there are a lot of things going on.
Hart added they were down to about 12 buildings that were either available or didn’t have something going on.
Hart acknowledged it is a challenge to find a building for the right people at the right rent or purchase price.
