COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch Intermediate School District Superintendent Kris Jenkins told the district’s Board of Education they had four applicants for the Farm Manager position which is part of the Branch Area Career Center Environmental and Agricultural Science program. Long time Farm Manager Bill Post retired April 18.
Applications are no longer being accepted, and Jenkins says the field has been trimmed to three after the first set of interviews were conducted.
The year round position calls for at least five years of production agriculture.
Students in the two year program get a chance to explore over 300 career opportunities in the agriculture industry.
